October 16, 2009
Looks like a new roof is in the future for Allen Carpenter of Crossville who won $1 million playing the Oct 14 Powerball drawing. “We started getting estimates as soon as we realized we won,” said Allen. A retired nuclear engineer, Allen says he always plays the Power Play. “I figure if you’re going to play you need to do it right.” The winning ticket was purchased at Honey’s Market in Crossville.
