LOTTO WINNER'S WIFE 'EXTRA' SKEPTICAL
August 14, 2009
Richmond, B.C. – Imagine you receive a phone call from your spouse telling you that they had just won the lottery. Would you believe it?
When David Husson of Langley B.C. called his wife to inform her he had just won $500,000 on a recent 'Extra' draw, her response was, "You had better not be kidding me!"
The 60-year-old glass worker was also in disbelief when he first discovered he won. "I was so shaky I could barely sign the back of my ticket", recalls Husson, who purchased his winning ticket from Safeway on Fraser Highway in Langley.
Husson says he plans to invest the money for now and is sure his wife will be a believer once she sees his bank statement.
