LAFONTAINE MAN BRINGS HOME THE BACON & $150,000

INDIANAPOLIS – Phillip Gauntt of LaFontaine and his wife, Christine, work in a number of different business, one of which is a farming and feed company. They are also involved in the business of real estate and auctioneering. Today Gauntt's business was claiming $150,000 from Hoosier Lottery Headquarters after playing scratch-off game Triple It.
"I love playing the Hoosier Lottery for the chance to win big," said Gauntt.
The Huntington County man purchased his winning ticket from McClure Oil #9 at W. 2970 State Road 18 in Kokomo.
"I was delivering some feed," said Gauntt. "And decided to stop and pick up a ticket."
Gauntt did not believe he scratched off a $150,000 winner so he went back inside the retail location at McClure's to have them verify it.
"They knew it was a winner but couldn't give me a definite answer," said Gauntt. "They told me to come to Hoosier Lottery Headquarters!"
